4 Branding Tips You’ll Need For A Successful 2021

It’s time to start planning for 2021, and one of the most important – and overlooked – areas of your business that might need attention is your branding. For many businesses, this year has been one of many changes. The question is, has your brand identity shifted to reflect those changes? Check out these 4 things to consider:

  1. Brand Consistency. When a client looks at your marketing and communication efforts, can they easily identify you and your brand? Your top priority should be that you are communicating the same message to your clients and potential clients across all forms of marketing including your website, your social media, email marketing campaigns, and even the way that your employees interact with your clients.
  2. Listen to Your Clients. How have your clients’ attitudes and buying patterns changed over the last year? Are their challenges the same as before? It probably goes without saying that there has been a significant shift in the way you interact with your clients, and this needs to be reflected in your branding message. Your clients are a wealth of information. Ask them why they buy from you and would they like to see any changes? Including them in the process will build loyalty and further solidify your brand.
  3. Communication. When and how do your clients hear from you? How do you respond to questions? Do you have extraordinary guarantees that seem to be “best kept secrets”? Studies have shown that it takes at least 10-16 touches before people even hear and comprehend a message. If you aren’t broadcasting what you and your company stand for on a regular basis, then it’s time to up your brand’s communication strategy.   4. Consider Brand Ambassadors. Chances are you have at least a handful of clients that just rave about your company and your products or services. Build partnerships with them to act as your brand ambassadors. Incorporating their stories – in their own words – into your branding and messaging gives you social proof that is invaluable as you continue to build your brand and your business. Ask them them do a video testimonial and post it on your social media channels.
