During the pandemic, email has become a primary way of communicating with clients and growing your email list is key to a successful marketing operation. Here are just a few suggestions on how you can do just that!
Collect Your Client’s Email Addresses. When onboarding a new client, make sure you add their email address to your database. It’s even better if you can “tag” them based on their industry, interests or past purchases to make sure you keep them up to date on information relevant to their business.
Provide An Email Sign-Up On Your Website. Turn website traffic into leads by adding an email opt-in right on your home page! Try a pop-up or a banner paired with some kind of call-to-action. For example, you can offer some kind of free giveaway to those who sign up for your email newsletter.
Promote Email Sign-Ups On Social Media. Post blogs and other content from your website on your social media channels. You can also promote contests and giveaways where your followers sign up for email updates in order to participate

Put A Subscribe Link in Your Email Signature. Add a subscribe link to your email signatures, with a compelling call to action. Here are some examples: “Click here to download our free ebook!” “Save your spot in our exclusive introductory webinar!” Make sure to collect their email address when they click the link.
Include a “Forward to a Friend” in All Email Newsletters.
If you deliver useful and engaging content in your email blasts, there’s a good chance your subscribers have contacts who would also benefit from this information. Adding a “forward to a friend” link will give them a convenient way to share your newsletter with others.
