Blown glass sculpture strewn with the petals of a velvet rose in our basin styling. A crimson and black glass frit combination is fused into the walls of this design which is pulled into partial translucency. The effect captures ambient light in a manner that softens the petals while the black highlights define their edges. We created this bowl to accommodate requests for a design that had both practical and artistic value. 5" W x 3.5" H
