The FRIODUR ice-hardened blade boasts a 61 Rockwell hardness and is hand-honed using the historic Honbazuke method, achieving an exceptionally sharp 9.5 to 12-degree edge. With an authentic thin Japanese blade profile, the ergonomic black pakkawood handle includes a steel mosaic pin and rounded bolster for comfort and balance. Hand wash recommended.
