We created a new series of Waterspout incorporating both light transmission and refraction in the same blown sculpture. The technique offers designs with a nearly unlimited variety of images and viewing angles. We build the designs in alternating layers of clear, opaque white and transparent glass colors. The technique captures light within the vase wall, which then refracts through the multiple layers of clear and transparent glass. 14" W x 19.5" H
