Transparent blue reduction glass is applied to a gather of clear then fused in the furnace. The color is concentrated using an optic press then twisted to produce the whirlpool pattern. A reduction flame is established in the furnace and the design is inserted altering the chemistry resulting in a transparent yet reflective blue mirror finish. The mirrored blue rippling glass of this design looks exactly like water in motion. Norway has the five strongest whirlpools in the world. 8.5" W x 4.5" H
